# Link updates

You can now enable two checks for document uploads via Link:

* **Incorrect document type** — If a user uploads a different document type from the one requested, Link rejects the upload and directs them to submit the correct type. This check is available for paystub, W-2, and 1099 requests.
* **Paystub recency** — Set how recent a paystub must be (30 days by default). Older paystubs are rejected, and users are directed to submit a more recent one.

Both checks work with PDFs and images, and can be enabled for individual Link flows under **Document upload settings** in Console’s [Flow Editor](https://console.argyle.com/flows).
