# API enhancements

> Two new properties added to the Link Items endpoint.

Two new properties have been added to the [Link Items endpoint](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/link-items):

* A `required_fields` [object](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/link-items#object-required_fields) has been added to the `pay_distribution_update` object and `pay_distribution_card_update` object. This `required_fields` object lists the fields required for deposit switch updates to bank accounts and cards, respectively.
