# API enhancements

> file_url time limits will be reduced to 15 minutes.

As part of Argyle's ongoing security enhancements, document PDFs returned by the [documents endpoint](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/documents) and [forms endpoint](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/forms) via the `file_url` field will only be accessible for 15 minutes (reduced from 1 hour) before the `file_url` must be refreshed via one of these Argyle endpoints using authorized access.

This change will be implemented on April 1, 2022.
