# API enhancements

We have added two new fields — `status` and `status_details` to the [link-items endpoint](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/link-items). We encourage API polling to proactively get the latest updates on Link item health status changes and issues.

In preparation for upcoming features, we are also adding two additional properties to the [pay-allocations endpoint](https://argyle.com/docs/legacy/api-reference/pay-allocations):

* `method` (*string*)
* `card` (*object*)
