# API enhancements

New account connection statuses and error codes.

New and improved [account connection statuses](https://argyle.com/docs/api-reference/accounts#object-connection-status) and [error codes](https://argyle.com/docs/api-reference/account-connection-errors) were added.

An [`auth_required`](https://argyle.com/docs/api-reference/account-connection-errors#authrequired) error code was added. This error means that a previously linked account disconnected from the work platform, and user needs to re-authenticate.
