# Argyle Changelog

## Coverage enhancements
**OnPay**, a payroll and HR platform for small and medium-sized businesses, is now available, expanding Argyle’s coverage by **300,000+ employees**.
* OnPay can be accessed via the Item ID `item_000028957`
## Broker-branded invites for wholesale mortgage
Wholesale lenders can now send broker-branded borrower invites through [Argyle’s Verifications API](https://docs.argyle.com/verifications/wholesale-mortgage) and [Encompass® TPO Connect](https://docs.argyle.com/integrations/pos-los/encompass/tpo-connect).
* **Broker-branded communication:** Email and SMS invites identify the broker, with contact details available in the email and landing page.
* **API support:** Add broker details once per borrower using `external_metadata.broker`. The default wholesale flow provides broker-specific messaging without creating a separate flow for every broker.
* **TPO Connect ordering:** Brokers can order payroll, asset, and document-based income verifications using the lender’s Argyle setup. Encompass Automated Service Ordering (ASO) also supports initial orders on broker-originated loans.
## Link updates
You can now enable two checks for document uploads via Link:
* **Incorrect document type** — If a user uploads a different document type from the one requested, Link rejects the upload and directs them to submit the correct type. This check is available for paystub, W-2, and 1099 requests.
* **Paystub recency** — Set how recent a paystub must be (30 days by default). Older paystubs are rejected, and users are directed to submit a more recent one.
Both checks work with PDFs and images, and can be enabled for individual Link flows under **Document upload settings** in Console’s [Flow Editor](https://console.argyle.com/flows).
## New connection notifications
**Monitor new connections after verifications**
* A new `verifications.connection_added` webhook is now available for [clients](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications-webhooks/connection-added) and [partners](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/partners-webhooks/connection-added). It is sent when a user adds a new payroll account or connects a new banking institution after a verification reaches `COMPLETED` or `CANCELLED`.
* For verifications initiated through Encompass or Consumer Connect, an email notification is also sent when a new connection is added.
* In Encompass, a one-click option to refresh the verification with the newly connected data is shown.
**Track additional account data availability**
* The optional `data.resource.availability` object in [account webhook](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/accounts-webhooks/added) payloads now includes `shifts` and `user_uploads` for `accounts.added`, `accounts.updated`, `accounts.connected`, and `accounts.failed`.
## Coverage enhancements
**Skyward**, one of the largest education platforms in the U.S. and a provider of K–12 HR and payroll software, is now available through Argyle, expanding coverage to more than **1,200 organizations**, including hundreds of school districts and municipalities across the country.

## Custom sending domain
Emails sent to consumers through Argyle can now come from an address on your own domain, such as `verifications@yourcompany.com`, instead of an Argyle email address.
*Custom sender domains are currently available on request. Contact your Argyle Customer Success Manager to enable the feature, then follow the setup guide to configure it in Console.*
## Verification invites
Verification invites can now be created through the [Verifications API](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications-guide#invites).
* After ordering one or more verifications, [create a session](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications/create-a-session) with `type: invite` and provide the user’s email address, phone number, or both.
## Link updates
We’ve improved invites and landing pages to provide more guidance throughout the verification process:
* Email and SMS invites now list all requested verifications, including income, employment, and assets.
* As users complete each verification, or if they encounter an issue, the landing page directs them to the next required step or another available option.
* If users try to exit before all requested verifications are complete, they are prompted to optionally complete any remaining verifications.
## Coverage enhancements
**Argyle has expanded its franchise coverage, with an additional 1,500+ Items added for corporate and franchise employers across 14 major brands**, including Burger King, Dairy Queen, Domino’s, Dunkin’, KFC, Little Caesars, McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Planet Fitness, Popeyes, Subway, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s.
## Coverage enhancements
**ExponentHR**, an HR, payroll, and benefits platform serving **300,000+ employees**, is now available through Argyle.
* ExponentHR can be accessed via the Item ID `item_000278120`
## Consumer email notification beginning July 15, 2026.
Beginning **July 15, 2026**, Argyle will automatically send an email notification to consumers after they successfully connect their Workday account to share their income and employment information through Argyle. The notification will be enabled by default for Workday connections. Consumers may also receive a separate notification directly from Workday.
## Integration enhancements
We have released automatic updates to our [Banking VOI and Banking VOAI reports](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications-guide) to make income calculations more accurate and report outputs easier to review.
✔️ **Updated VOI and VOAI PDFs:** Banking VOI and Banking VOAI report PDFs have been refreshed to reflect the latest income calculation and report output updates.
✔️ **More accurate gross income calculations:** Updated tax assumptions and state-level logic improve net-to-gross estimates.
✔️ **Better income stream detection:** Payment app deposits like Venmo and Zelle, along with check/cash and wire deposits, are now evaluated more precisely so related deposits are grouped into income streams and unrelated deposits are less likely to be counted as income.
✔️ **Improved projected income logic:** Infrequent, older, low-dollar non-paycheck deposits, and identified tax refunds are less likely to be treated as active ongoing income or projected forward.
✔️ **New gross income fields in report JSON:** Banking VOI and VOAI JSON now includes `net_monthly[].gross` and `average_monthly_income_gross` on each income stream.
## Enhanced government verifications
We’re excited to share enhanced [Government verifications](https://www.argyle.com/blog/argyle-expands-consent-based-verification-platform-for-state-government-agencies), expanding Argyle’s consent-based verification platform to support income and employment verification for benefits eligibility workflows.
✔️ **Streamline eligibility reviews:** Receive `voie-government` PDF and JSON reports with configurable lookback periods that include monthly income summaries and paystub-level detail.
✔️ **Handle complex income:** Capture W-2 and gig earnings across multiple employers.
✔️ **Applicant certified:** Applicants can review and certify income and employment data and leave comments for caseworkers when they report an issue.

Argyle now supports payroll connections for employees at **Google** and **Microsoft**.

## Integration enhancements
[Argyle now integrates with Candor](https://www.argyle.com/blog/argyle-now-integrates-directly-with-leading-ai-mortgage-underwriting-tool), allowing lenders to pair Argyle’s direct-source income, employment, and verification data with Candor’s AI mortgage underwriting and decisioning tools for faster, cleaner, real-time inputs to support qualifying income calculations, exception identification, and more confident loan decisions.
## Integration enhancements
Argyle now supports asset import from Banking VOA and VOAI reports in Encompass®, allowing lenders to review and import verified asset account data directly into the loan file.
## Coverage enhancements
**Express Employment Professionals**, a leading staffing provider with 850+ franchise locations and 450,000+ employees, is now available through Argyle.

## Link updates
A new [account connection error](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/account-connection-errors#login_gov_not_linked) has been added:
* `login_gov_not_linked` — The user needs to link their Login.gov account with the platform and then retry the account connection.
## Databricks added as new subprocessor.
Argyle has engaged Databricks as a subprocessor in connection with data processing and storage services. Please visit our [Subprocessors](https://www.argyle.com/legal/open-payroll/subprocessors) page for more information.
## API enhancements
For verification orders created through third-party platforms, a new `verifications.creation_failed` webhook is now available for [direct integrations](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications-webhooks/creation-failed) and [partner integrations](https://docs.argyle.com/api-reference/verifications-partners/verifications-creation-failed-webhook).
The webhook is sent when a verification order cannot be created, making failed orders easier to detect and resolve.
